To browse the doors by name press [ENTER] when prompted for a door number to modify<br />

and then use the [] and [] keys to scroll the available doors by their name.<br />

Selecting a Door to Modify<br />

Each door is assigned a unique door number from 001 to 250. Your system will be limited to<br />

specific number of doors that are defined in the selected profile. For information on profiles<br />

refer to the Advanced Programming Section on Page XX.<br />

modify: DR001<br />

Type the appropriate 3-digit door number or use the [] and [] keys to scroll the available<br />

door numbers. When the desired door number appears on the screen, press [ENTER] to<br />

program the selected door number. The maximum number of doors that can be programmed<br />

is limited by your system’s memory and configured profile.<br />

Door Name<br />

If the selected door has a name associated (some doors do not have a name associated with<br />

them) the name programming screen will be shown.<br />

*Door 001<br />

To scroll doors by name use the [] and [] keys. To modify or enter a new name for the<br />

selected door use the keypad as explained in section Entering Text and Names on Page 406<br />

and press [ENTER].<br />

By default the door name will be prefixed by an '*' this indicates that the name is an editable<br />

name in the system. Some doors do not have names, this is limited by the system memory<br />

and the profile configured.<br />

Door Type Selection<br />

The door type selection allows the door to function in different modes. These modes require<br />

the user to present specific credentials for example a card, card and pin, card or pin and pin<br />

only. By using a door type these can be scheduled dependent on the time of day allowing<br />

different security credentials to be used.<br />

DR001 Type<br />

Card Only<br />

Use the [1] and [3] keys to scroll the door type selection and press [ENTER] to select the<br />

door type displayed. For more information about the list control data entry refer to the section<br />

List Control Data Entry on Page 406.<br />

Slave Door<br />

The slave door will follow the primary door (this door) when it unlocks and locks. This can be<br />

used to operate a second door that is required to gain access only when a specific entry path<br />

is used. For example to gain access to a door a you must access door b.<br />
