deeply impressed by his/<strong>the</strong>ir dedication to <strong>the</strong> nation’s space program – his/<strong>the</strong>ir<br />

<strong>in</strong>sistence that <strong>the</strong> advancement of manned space flight was a pursuit of <strong>the</strong> highest<br />

order which must be carried out despite personal risks <strong>in</strong>volved.<br />
