SCOPE<br />

This document summarizes <strong>the</strong> assumptions, objectives, program<br />

content, hardware availability and flight schedules for <strong>the</strong> proposed Saturn<br />

Apollo Applications program, as currently planned and as reflected <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> May<br />

1966 NASA submission to <strong>the</strong> Bureau of <strong>the</strong> Budget. <strong>The</strong> plans described <strong>in</strong><br />

this document are under active consideration with<strong>in</strong> NASA but have not been<br />

approved at this time and are subject to fur<strong>the</strong>r review and change.<br />
