. of Los Angeles x:esidents approved<br />

· 38% opposed it. -<strong>The</strong> leave was<br />

thrown into question Friday, when<br />

· the City Council ordered the city<br />

attorney to reverse it Monday in<br />

! divided along racial lines in its<br />

. attitudes toward Bradley and Gates<br />
