Creating the new Leon look
When we designed the new SEAT Leon, we used a special tool: light. Every day the
prototype was wheeled outside so we could see how the reflections and highlights
looked under the clear Spanish sun.
We worked tirelessly to make sure every line had the ideal depth and definition.
And that every shadow created the right dramatic effect.
The final result is striking. The lines converge to form dynamic triangular shapes,
that give way to generous curves. This is what gives the new Leon its visual balance.
And it sums up its character well too. Bold but warm, and ready to shine in
every situation.

When we designed the new Leon, we wanted it to be practical as well as beautiful.
The kind of car that everyone could enjoy every day.
That’s why we gave it five doors, integrating them into the design without losing
any of the car’s fluid good-looks. This makes the generous cabin easily accessible
for all the passengers.
And, because more people means more stuff, it comes with 380 litres of boot space.
This way the new Leon can accommodate a whole family and all their bags, without
ever losing its cool.

VISIONARY
FEATURES
Safety has never been so stylish
Look deep into the new Leon’s sculpted front and rear lights, and
you’ll see the future. Or to be more precise: SEAT Full LED.
A unique option in the SEAT Leon segment, SEAT Full LED lights
make use of LED technology both in the main and dipped beams,
but also the daytime running lights. They give the new Leon a
sleek, contemporary look.
LED lights are smarter and more efficient than their halogen
equivalents. They are quicker to respond, vibration resistant and
they last longer too. Ultimately they make you more visible on the
road. And more admired.
With futuristic lights outside, we had to create the optimum
experience inside too. Which is why there’s SEAT Drive Profile that
allows you to choose the driving mode you want.
By switching between three distinct modes – Normal, Sport and
ECO (the most environmentally considered option), you can see,
hear and feel the change in the Leon’s performance.
Each mode allows you to vary engine response, power-steering,
interior ambient lighting (red in sport mode and white in Normal
and Eco mode) and engine sound. What’s more, you can select
your favourite aspect of each mode to suit your personal driving
style. Wherever you look in the new Leon, you’re always looking
at the future.

Extra sensory enjoyment
We wanted the new Leon to be more than a car. We wanted it to be an experience.
That’s why every feature and fitting is made to such exacting standards. From the
ergonomic seats and moulded instrument clusters, to the chrome door handles and
leather steering wheel; everything in the new Leon breathes an air of quality.
There’s a range of upholstery choices, including Alcantara, beige leather, black,
and black and grey. And you’ll find sophisticated infotainment systems that will
keep you up-to-date and entertained.

Connecting just got easier
There’s a SEAT Sound System, Navigation System, Bluetooth ®
and more. All of it controlled via our very own EASYCONNECT
operating system. This allows you to manage the new Leon’s
large array of infotainment options through a single touchscreen
mounted on the dashboard. In addition, the entire console is
driver-oriented for easier control.
A substantial 5" touch screen radio comes as standard, with the
option to upgrade to a larger screen size, add DAB digital radio,
10-speaker SEAT Sound System and Navigation.
With three-dimensional button designs, a razor sharp display
and a logical interface, it’ll keep you connected to your world
and your inner-child.

The new Leon looks powerful even when it’s standing still. But start
the engine, and you’ll discover it’s a car that keeps its promises.
Choose from the formidable but efficient 1.6 litre TDI; the lean,
mean 1.2 litre TSI; or go all out with our most powerful engines -
the 1.8 TSI and the 2.0 TDI.
All our engines are powerful and responsive. But thanks to their
legendary fuel economy, the performance won’t come at a price,
because these are a new generation of engines with lower emissions
and fuel consumption that ever before.
And, thanks to a more evenly balanced suspension, the new Leon
can deliver something beyond just raw power: it connects you
to the road through a drive that’s at once more sporty, dynamic
and comfortable. This way driving is always a pleasure, wherever
your journey takes you.

IN GREEN
Eco-conscious cars
The new Leon is a natural athlete. Bold, powerful and agile.
But it’s also eco-friendly.
This is thanks in part to something known as the Start/Stop
system. This innovative technology limits the amount of time
that the engine spends idling, shutting down when you’re at
a standstill. So if you spend a lot of time in traffic, it cuts down
your emissions and your fuel bills.
To give you an example, the most efficient model is the 1.6 TDI CR
105 PS which emits only 99 CO2 g/km of emissions and has a fuel
consumption of 74.3 mpg (combined cycle).
So while the new Leon might make a big impression on you,
the environment will hardly know it’s there.

START/STOP SYSTEM.
This system allows you to save fuel and cut down on CO2 emissions.
OFF
ON
Start/Stop System activates when you are in a neutral
gear position. The engine turns off completely and
remains stopped until you put the foot on the clutch.
To be on the move again, you only need to step
on the clutch, shift into first gear and the engine
will start automatically.

SAFETY IN
NUMBERS
Peace of mind comes as standard
The most important things that go into the new Leon are you and
your passengers. That’s why we’ve designed it to be one of the safest
places you can be on the road.
For starters SE and FR models come with built-in XDS. A clever piece
of technology that improves the car’s traction when accelerating
through curves, and Hill Hold Control for smoother hill starts.
The new Leon also looks out for you in other ways. With the aid
of a camera installed on the windscreen, the High Beam Assist
automatically alters the intensity of the headlights where necessary.
Lane Assist warns you if you drift into another lane and automatically
prompts you to correct the car’s trajectory. There’s even a Tiredness
Recognition System that helps to keep you alert at the wheel.
Seven airbags come as standard, with the option to add rear side
airbags too. Meanwhile in the rear seats there’s an iSOFiX system
to keep the smallest passengers safe and sound.
And with the new Leon being awarded the maximum 5-star Euro
NCAP* safety rating, wherever you sit, you’ll always be on the
safe side.

FRONT & REAR PARKING SENSOR.
These intelligent sensors help guide you into a parking space without incident, warning you if you are too close to the kerb, or another car.
HILL HOLD CONTROL.
For smoother hill starts every time. Hill Hold control keeps the brakes applied until the engine has enough torque for you to move off.
AIRBAGS.
With seven airbags as standard including the
driver’s knee airbag, every corner of the new Leon
is a safe place to be.

ASSISTANT
ONBOARD
The car that thinks of everything
LANE ASSIST.
This system helps you to remain in the intended lane of travel, warning you if you start drifting
into another lane, and prompting you to correct the car’s trajectory.

HIGH BEAM ASSIST.
Where necessary, the new Leon switches from high to low beam settings automatically so as not to dazzle oncoming traffic,
leaving you to concentrate on the road.
TIREDNESS RECOGNITION SYSTEM.
By dynamically analysing driving decisions, this system can detect if the driver is losing concentration and will suggest taking a rest.
It warns acoustically and optically on instrument panel for 5 seconds, and repeats if necessary.

THE SEAT WARRANTY
THREE-YEAR WARRANTY.
All new SEATs registered in the UK come with a three year/60,000 miles
warranty, which protects your car against the failure of most
mechanical and electrical components due to manufacturing defects.
This comprises a two-year manufacturer’s warranty with unlimited
mileage plus a further one-year/60,000 (whichever is soonest) Dealer
Warranty. Should the mileage exceed 60,000 miles within the first
two years, the manufacturer’s two-year warranty will still be valid. If
an additional warranty for subsequent years or higher mileage is
desired, it may be purchased from an authorised SEAT dealer or
repairer, however, this additional warranty must be purchased
before the mileage reaches 60,000. Cover is subject to the car being
serviced and maintained according to the manufacturer’s technical
guidelines. Full details of the three-year warranty are available from
your SEAT dealer or repairer.
THREE-YEAR PAINT WARRANTY.
The paintwork of the Toledo is covered against manufacturing defects
for a period of three years. Naturally, the Toledo must be cared for in
compliance with the operating instructions which will be found in your
vehicle handbook. Please consult your authorised SEAT dealer or
repairer for full warranty details.
TWELVE-YEAR BODY PROTECTION WARRANTY.
The internal body sections and panels of the Toledo is covered against
rusting through from the inside for a period of twelve years. Naturally,
the Toledo must be cared for in compliance with the operating
instructions which will be found in your vehicle handbook. Please
consult your authorised SEAT dealer or repairer for full warranty details.
SEAT PARTS WARRANTY.
SEAT parts and accessories supplied after new vehicle delivery are
covered by our 24 months parts warranty.
SEAT ACCESSORIES.
Every accessory is designed specifically for SEAT and is fully tested
to our high quality standards. All accessories unless otherwise
stated come with a two year warranty, extended to three years when
purchased and fitted prior to delivery of a brand new vehicle, and
what’s more, they can be fitted by SEAT approved technicians.
SPECIFICATIONS.
Specifications for the Toledo refer to Model Year 2013. While SEAT
makes every effort to make sure that specifications are accurate at
time of going to press (01/13), you should always check details with
your SEAT dealer as there may have been changes in view of SEAT’s
policy of continuous product improvement. Th e right is reserved to
change specification and colour at any time. The information in this
brochure can therefore be given as guidance only.
SEAT ASSISTANCE (INCLUDING EUROPEAN COVER).
Any new SEAT purchased and registered in the UK from an authorised
SEAT dealer, is covered free by SEAT Assistance (including European
cover) for roadside repairs or recovery to an authorised repairer for a
term of two years. Your member of the SEAT authorised network will
ensure that all servicing and repairs are carried out in accordance
with the manufacturer’s instructions. Terms and conditions apply.

SEAT Finance specialises in providing funding solutions for SEAT
drivers. Whether your SEAT is for private or business use, you can

FUEL CONSUMPTION INFORMATION.
The Government fuel figures do not express or imply any guarantee of
the fuel consumption of any particular vehicle. The individual vehicles
have not been tested and there are inevitable differences between
individual examples of the same model. In addition, a vehicle may
incorporate particular modifications. Furthermore, the driving style
and road and traffic conditions, as well as the extent to which the
vehicle has been driven and the standard of maintenance, will affect
its fuel consumption.
VEHICLE EXCISE DUTY AND CO2 EMISSIONS.
All vehicles first registered on or after 1 st March 2001 are subject to a
form of Vehicle Excise Duty (Road Fund Licence) based on the type of
fuel the vehicle uses and its carbon dioxide (CO2) emission level,
measured in grammes per kilometre (g/km).
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT.
Throughout this publication, wherever a feature is described as
being an ‘Option’ or ‘Optional Fitment/Pack’ etc, you should assume
that it will be at extra cost to the base vehicle, unless specifically
stated to the contrary. Any vehicle ordered with optional equipment
(other than metallic paint) will be subject to a 12 week minimum
delivery period.
