PERSONAL CONTRACT HIRE
Keeping it simple
If you want fixed monthly repayments that are really affordable – without the additional expenses
that come with owning a car – Personal Contract Hire offers the best of both worlds.
You simply hire the SEAT of your choice for a fixed term and agreed mileage. Then take good care of
the car, servicing it at recommended intervals before returning it to us when the rental period ends
(subject to vehicle condition).
How personal contract hire works
• Choose your SEAT and the fixed, monthly repayment period that comes with it
• Keep to your agreed mileage - If you go over you may have to pay excess charges
• Service the car at an authorised SEAT dealer – you’ll also be responsible for paying for any damage,
other than reasonable wear and tear
• At the end of the contract, return the car to us. There isn’t the option to purchase the vehicle at the
end of the contract.

to do is wait to get out on the road. Which is why we offer
a free seven day insurance that starts the moment the
SEAT becomes yours. It means you can drive your new car
home on day one – and still have seven days to arrange
an annual insurance policy.
Annual insurance
Our annual insurance policies come with a wide range of
standard features. So if you do ever need to make a claim,
you can be sure we’ll take care of the details and repair
your SEAT to our high quality standards.
Standard features include:
• All repairs are done by SEAT trained technicians
and approved repairers using only genuine SEAT
parts. They will repair your car to its original factory
specifications. So the safety, security, value and good
looks of your car will remain unchanged if you have an
accident. We even guarantee the quality of our repairs
for three years
• If your car’s off the road due to an accident, we’ll make
sure you have a courtesy car to get around in – no
matter who’s to blame for the collision. That way you’ll
still be able to get around, while we return your car to
its former glory
• We’ll take responsibility for recovering you and your
car after an accident, theft or vandalism. We’ll either
take you – and your passengers – to your destination,
or back home if you’d prefer. And then we’ll take care
of your car too
• If you have an accident we’ll replace all damaged child
seats – so you can rest assured your most valuable
cargo is well looked after

For ultimate peace of mind
Gap insurance means that you can protect the value of
your SEAT no matter what happens. It works like this…
If your car is written-off in an accident – or stolen and
not recovered – your insurance provider might only cover
you for its current value. This might not be the same as
the amount you owe on the car. But with gap insurance,
we help you bridge the gap and take away the worry of
finding the extra money needed to replace your SEAT.
We offer four types of gap insurance:
• Return to invoice price
• Outstanding finance
• Return to invoice price and outstanding finance
• Lease charges.
For example…
Let’s say you bought a car worth £15,000 and,
unfortunately, after 15 months it gets written-off. Your
insurer might only pay out the current value – which could
be around £11,000. So to replace your SEAT with another
model worth £15,000, you would need to find £4,000.
But with our return to invoice price cover, we could pay
you the missing £4,000.
Alternatively, with our outstanding finance product, the
gap insurance payment would cover any charges (up to a
maximum of £10,000) that would need to be paid to fully
settle your finance agreement.

manage your SEAT’s servicing.

• Want to part with your SEAT before the period or

We offer three simple plans that cover servicing, maintenance and even tyres.
And all are available on fixed schedule payments to suit your budget.

ENJOY DRIVING –
WITHOUT THE HASSLE
Our servicing plans can be built around the typical miles
you do each year, so you only pay for what you need.
We can base servicing on anything from 5,000 miles to 40,000 miles each year, as long as it’s under
120,000 miles in total.
And to give you even more flexibility, you can pay for your plan in staged payments,
by direct debit, add it to your finance agreement, or pay for the entire plan with a
single payment.
Knowing your car is in the hands of SEAT experts can be a weight off your mind.
And of course, our skilled technicians only use genuine, approved parts. What’s more,
having a service book that’s fully stamped by SEAT can even make your car more
attractive – and potentially more valuable – to potential buyers.
We take the hassle and worry out of caring for your car – so you can simply enjoy

Breakdown assistance… just in case
It’s good to know your new SEAT is covered with breakdown assistance, recovery and
onward travel services…
When you buy a new SEAT, we automatically offer SEAT Assistance cover for the first
two years (subject to terms and conditions). SEAT Finance will add this cover for
the remaining term of your fixed-cost maintenance contract when you choose the
Service and Maintenance or Service, Maintenance and Tyres plan.
It’s just another way SEAT helps bring you enjoyable, trouble-free motoring.
