Later Has Arrived
The Time For Estate Planning Is Now
While most Americans provide gifts to
charities during their lifetimes, only a small
percentage make arrangements to leave
gifts by will or other estate plan. Why is this?
One reason is that more than half of those who pass away
each year do so without an estate plan in place. And among
those who do have an estate plan, many do not know they
can include a distribution to a charity.
These factors explain why we talk so much about wills
and trusts. We believe it is in the best interest of our
friends and supporters to prepare for the future – not
only for their family members, but also for those charities
they supported during their life. The most common
reason we hear for a lack of planning is the siren song of
procrastination, “I’ll do it later.”
For this reason, we have developed a Will Kit to help
