Outcomes<br />
Re<strong>for</strong>m of the justice system is at the heart of the<br />
<strong>Scottish</strong> <strong>Government</strong>’s public service re<strong>for</strong>m agenda.<br />
<strong>The</strong> justice system we aim to deliver has specific goals<br />
which are designed to make a real difference to both<br />
our society and our economy. This vision has been<br />
def<strong>in</strong>ed as follows:<br />
a justice system that contributes positively to<br />
a flourish<strong>in</strong>g <strong>Scotland</strong>, help<strong>in</strong>g to create an<br />
<strong>in</strong>clusive and respectful society <strong>in</strong> which<br />
all people and communities live <strong>in</strong> safety and<br />
security, where <strong>in</strong>dividual and collective rights<br />
are supported, and where disputes are<br />
resolved fairly and swiftly.<br />
This vision will be delivered through a set of outcomes,<br />
consistent with the National Per<strong>for</strong>mance Framework<br />
which guides all public services <strong>in</strong> <strong>Scotland</strong> towards<br />
our shared Purpose:<br />
to focus government and public services on creat<strong>in</strong>g<br />
a more successful country, with opportunities<br />
<strong>for</strong> all of <strong>Scotland</strong> to flourish, through <strong>in</strong>creas<strong>in</strong>g<br />
susta<strong>in</strong>able economic growth.<br />
