How to Read a Schedule
• The schedule for each route is shown in Headways,
identified by the route number and description that
you will see on the bus display.
• Schedules are labeled either “Monday-Friday”,
“Saturday-Sunday”, or “Daily” (seven-days-a-week).
• The columns shown are timepoints, which are bus
stops at major intersections, and are labeled with a
capital letter, which is also shown on the corresponding
route map.
• Each row across the schedule shows the departure
times for a single bus trip.
• Selected trips that only run during the School Term
are labeled “ST” (example shown below).

Steps for Planning Your Trip
• Start by finding your destination on the System Map
shown on pages 39-42 (centerfold of this booklet).
• Find the starting point where you will board the bus.
• Decide which route (or routes) you will need to
take. Some trips require more than one route, which
means you will need to transfer from one route to
another. If you need to transfer, find the intersection
of the two routes. This is where you will exit the first
bus and board the second.
• Check the schedule to determine what time you need
to arrive at your bus stop or Transit Center.
• A dash in place of a time means that timepoint is not
served on that particular trip. The far-left timepoint
is the trip departure, and the far-right timepoint is the
arrival.
• In between timepoints there may be other stops,

to provide additional information about the trip or route.
