24. A tournament is a series of contests in competition for a championship in which at least 1 st & 2 nd<br />
place is decided by a final contest between the two teams. <strong>School</strong>s must now submit tournament<br />
format i.e., brackets for approval as part of the sanctioning process in basketball, baseball, softball,<br />
lacrosse, tennis and soccer. (Maximum 10 consecutive days for a tournament).<br />
Varsity<br />
Maximum of 10 games can be played in a combination of the two tournaments.<br />
If you choose to play more than five games in any one tournament this will constitute<br />
having played a second tournament<br />
JV<br />
o Maximum of 10 games can be played in a combination of the two tournaments<br />
o If you choose to play more than five games in any one tournament this will<br />
constitute having played a second tournament<br />
o JV level does not have the option to trade in one tournament for additional regular<br />
season contests<br />
