CLUB DERMACIE
TRAINING SCHEME
IN 2011
Why join Club Dermacie 2011?
In 2010 over 3,500 pharmacy staff took part in
Club Dermacie. Membership for 2011 is free
and open to everyone who took part in 2010
plus all those who would like to join Club
Dermacie for the first time.
Club Dermacie works because no one is better
positioned to offer quality, independent advice
on skincare than community pharmacy. Taking
part in Club Dermacie will help make
pharmacy the number one destination for
skincare consumers.
By completing the free training programme,
you can gain accredited certification and
qualify as a Dermacie expert. We’ll also send
you promotional materials to use in your
pharmacy to let your customers know that
you’re the best source of skincare information
and advice.
What’s new in 2011?
The 2011 campaign will revise and refresh the
teaching from last year but also go deeper
into your customer’s personal skincare
requirements. Also new for 2011 are the baby
and children’s skincare, advanced skincare,
natural skincare and merchandising
modules.
What do the modules cover?
Working alongside experts from
respected brands like Piz Buin,
Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, RoC,
Johnson’s, Aveeno, and Johnson’s
Baby we’ll be covering the following
topics within 8 dedicated modules:
• Baby and Children’s Skincare
• Skin Health
• Everyday Skincare
• Suncare
• Skincare Merchandising
• Natural Skincare
• Teen & Young Skincare
• Advanced and Anti-Ageing Skincare.
What will each module contain?
• Quality training materials to enhance and
widen your knowledge
• A guide to key ingredients and how they work
• Activities for you to complete to help you learn
and make practical applications in your
workplace
• A detailed look into some of the key
products on your shelves
• Link sales and customer service tips
• Information on how to best merchandise your
pharmacy to maximise the category
• Multiple-choice questions to complete and
return for individual grading
and assessment.
When will I receive
the modules?
Once you’ve registered,
you’ll receive module 1 -
Baby and Children’s skincare.
The other seven
modules will then be sent
to your pharmacy over the
following five months.

Consultants of the Year Award
Every person that passes all 8
modules will automatically be
entered for the Dermacie
Consultants of the Year award.
The winner will be invited to
accept their award and prizes at
the annual Beauty Magazine
Awards ceremony in November.
