Date: Monday, 15 October Time: 7pm- 8.30pm Venue: Moonee Valley Civic Centre, 9 Kellaway Avenue, Moonee Ponds Cost: Free Learn positive and effective ways to respond to common cyber hazards such as sexting, cyberbullying, cyberaddiction and privacy concerns. By the end of this session parents will: • understand the top five cyber risks to a young person’s wellbeing • learn how to prevent and respond effectively to common cyber risks • learn balanced approaches to regulate your child’s online use without creating unnecessary family conflict • understand how to best negotiate cyber use with your adolescent This forum will be facilitated by educational psychologist and cyber safety expert Tena Davis.
