From a seven sheet series which forms a continuous composition linked by the gold screen in
the background. The silver tortoise held in her hand, together with the paintings of a tortoise and
crane, were symbols of longevity appropriate for surimono intended for the New Year.
Condition: Slightly faded and slightly soiled. Other minor defects.
