Traineeship:
A scheme combining practical work with structured
training to give young people a nationally recognised
qualification and experience.
Training Accounts:
Mature-age job seekers who are participating in
Intensive Assistance or job search training get
Training Accounts, which can then be used to get
training in work-related skills.
Training course:
Course which an individual may undertake, either as
a preparation for work or on the job training.
Training Credits:
Are a reward for participation in Work for the Dole
projects or Community Work, and can be used to pay
for training courses.
Transfer from one pension/benefit to another:
Generally no waiting period need be served if a
person transfers from one benefit/pension to
another.
Transition to Work:
Services that aim to deliver advice and training to
people who have been out of the workforce for two
years or more because of parenting or caring
responsibilities who are aged over 50 years.
Trust account:
Account held by one person as trustee for another,
eg a solicitor holding money in trust for a customer.
Trustee:
A person who holds assets for the benefit of others
in accordance with a written agreement or deed.
Trust fund:
Fund set up to manage capital and to distribute the
proceedings of it to specially nominated
beneficiaries, normally heirs or relatives of the
creator of the trust fund.
