Speziell im Hinblick auf die Interessen der<br />
Gay und Lesbian Community hat <strong>Salzburg</strong><br />
als eine der ersten Städte Österreichs eingetragene<br />
Partnerschaften ermöglicht und<br />
für die Zeremonien nicht irgendwelche Nebenzimmer,<br />
sondern im Interesse der<br />
Gleichbehandlung, ihren weltberühmten<br />
Marmorsaal, der gerne als der schönste<br />
Trauungssaal der Welt bezeichnet wird, zur<br />
Verfügung gestellt. Diese Haltung im Hinblick<br />
auf den Grundsatz der Gleichbehandlung<br />
wurde auch vom Verfassungsgerichtshof<br />
bestätigt – <strong>Salzburg</strong>s Ruf als weltoffene<br />
Stadt wurde damit unterstrichen.<br />

for visitor oriented measures for<br />
international attention to our rich touristic<br />
resources and background. They guarantee<br />
that <strong>Salzburg</strong> can meet, both now<br />
and in the future, the high expectations<br />
the numerous visitors have of such a renowned<br />
city.<br />
With particular regard to the interests of<br />
the gay and lesbian community, <strong>Salzburg</strong><br />
was one of the very first cities in Austria to<br />
allow civil partnerships. For the ceremonies,<br />
we do not just offer any small side<br />
rooms, but in the interest of equality, we<br />
offer the world-famous Marble Hall located<br />
in the Mirabell Palace, which is often<br />
referred to as one of the most beautiful<br />
wedding locations in the world. This attitude<br />
towards equal treatment has also<br />
been confirmed by the Constitutional<br />
Court – serving to further underline <strong>Salzburg</strong>‘s<br />
