Mission/Vision Statement and Guiding Values Mission Statement The County of Salem’s Board of Chosen Freeholders is committed to maintaining and improving the quality of life for our residents by effectively and efficiently managing the County’s resources and employees to provide services that are socially and fiscally responsible. Through preservation and planned economic growth, we will maintain Salem County’s rich agricultural, cultural and historical legacy and ensure our viability for future generations. Working together we are steadfast in serving the residents of Salem County with honesty and integrity to ensure that all voices are heard and valued, so that no one is left behind.
