Repair Diagnosis / Troubleshooting Scripts The Script language daisy developed for the d-lab.3 will be used to create test routines. The directory Scripts contains ready test routines to activate and check sensors and loads. For this reason, the modification / recreation of scripts should only be necessary in exceptional cases. See Script language daisy in this register. Commands For the analysis of the Log files, i.e. the command execution recorded there, an overall knowledge of the commands is required. The transmission of commands and replies requires a special protocol based on telegrams. AGFA d-lab.3 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 3.3
Diagnosis / Troubleshooting Repair Remote Diagnosis with the RDS System The RDS functions (Remote Diagnose Service) integrated in the machine shortens service calls or eliminates them altogether: Defective Hardware and operating errors can be recognised by means of the RDS. For this reason, the d-lab.3 can be linked with the PC of a service organisation via a network, remote data transmission or the Internet. This PC can be used to monitor, analyse, call up and edit data: Data can be checked in remote Offline mode: − Production statistics − Customer and machine data − MBL and PBL values − Measuring values of the chemical test strips − Configuration files − Software versions − Indices of the installed Hardware − Log files − Monitoring of the machine functions The remote control of the machine is possible in remote Online mode (activation of production procedures). Defective Hardware and operating errors can be recognised by means of the RDS. 3.4 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 AGFA d-lab.3
