Repair Paper Processor Densitometer, integrated The integrated densitometer should allow an automatic Setup routine for MBL, PBL and CBL. The routine is repeated upon the Auto-Setup until the test print values are in tolerance with the aim densities. The measuring values are compatible with those of the DENS1, provided the calibration has been performed with the same measuring plate. Procedure: A zeroing to D=0,10 in Y, M, C is performed immediately before each measurement. For this, the measuring head is pressed on the reference plate. The actual measuring procedure is triggered by the paper tip of the test print. The measuring head is pressed on the test print, the measuring lamp is switched on after 1 s and the preceding black/white pattern is expected (only for MBL, PBL, CBL) prior to the test print. If the pattern is not recognised after 15 s the latest, an error message is displayed. After the correct detection of the preceding pattern, the measuring phase starts. One measurement each is performed in cycles every 20 ms for Y, M, C until the end of the measuring field is reached. The maximum value is calculated for each colour. Measuring values differing by more than 0,4 from the maximum value are eliminated; the remaining values are used to calculate the mean value. After the measurement, the measuring lamp is switched off and the measuring head is lifted. An error message appears if the measuring lamp fails. dlabr069 Climatic Conditions Densitometer Temperature min. 20 ºC max. 20 ºC Relative humidity min. 15% Standby max. 85% at 35 ºC 90% at 30 ºC Operation max. 30% at 60 ºC AGFA d-lab.3 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 7.3.11
