Back Printer, replacing the Print Head
Replacement required:
Back Printer defective
Allan keys 4; 2; 2,5 and 1,5
Cross tip screwdriver
Service cables L9.8060.9001.1 and L9.8060.9002.1
Removal:
− Replace the complete printer
− Disconnect the cable to the GS

− Unscrew 2 Allan screws on either side
− Remove the assembly group to the bottom
− Replace the print head
− Remove the ink ribbon cartridge (1)
− Disconnect the flat cable
− Unscrew 2 cross tip screws
− Remove the print head (2)
− Replace the printer belt drive motor (3)
− Remove the ink ribbon cartridge
− Disconnect the motor connections
− Remove the driver on the belt drive (screwed
on with an Allan screw)
− Unscrew 4 Allan screws
− Remove the motor

Installation:
− Always in reverse direction
1 Back printer ink ribbon magazine
2 Print head paper feed
3 Drive motor
Check the print quality:
− Connect the service cable
− Call up the following Script under Service:
Scripts/scripts_printer/data_ld/4x6fast.txt,
D102x152.txt, D203x305.txt
