Repair Printer Replacing the Laser Module / Laser Warning! A laser beam of class 3B may be accessible after the removal of covers. Be sure to keep the mechanical laser shutter on the fibre coupling closed when working on the laser. Looking directly into lasers of class 3B is dangerous and can always hurt the eyes. Make sure during maintenance and repair work that the laser beam is not reflected into the eyes by parts or tools. Caution! The assembly group should never be opened. The Laser fibre cable is rigidly coupled with the Laser module. It must only be disconnected on the laser head itself. The following parts can be replaced: − Laser module 4.4150.1000 − Laser 7.8060.LUD0 − Laser power supply unit 7.8060.LUC1 − PE_GS01 (3) Distributor board 8.8060.2170 − LA_GS07 Polygon drive (4) 7.4150.1558 − LA_BE04 AOM green (5) 8.4150.1330 − LA_BE04 AOM blue (6) 8.4150.1330 Not replaceable: − LA_GS06 (1) − LA_GS05 (2) dlabrx48 AGFA d-lab.3 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 6.4.45
Printer Repair Replacing the Laser Module Cross tip screwdriver Allan keys 5,0 and 3,0 − Disconnect the Laser cable from the Laser: − Pull out the PE − Pull out the TU and remove it − Unscrew the Laser cover − Unscrew the locking screws on the cable − Strip off the cable − Remove the cable from the drag chain − Take off the mirror cover: 4 Allan screws − Disconnect the connectors − Unscrew the fastening screws on the Laser module: 4 Allan screws − Disconnect the connectors − Lift the Laser module up and out, holding it by the handles 1 Carrier frame 2 Laser module dlabr076 6.4.46 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 AGFA d-lab.3
