Repair Printer Replacing the Gearing Replacement required: Leaking oil, synchronisation problems caused by the gearing Allan keys 2,5 and 3 and 4 if available, a second person to help Removal: − Pull out the PE − Unscrew the rear plate with the venting slits on the exposure slit − Open the bottom set of belts − Open the fastening of the gear coupling for the print roller: 2 Allan screws − Close the bottom set of belts again − Disconnect the motor cable (in the top frame) and remove the motor − Unscrew 3 fastening screws (vibration absorbing) outside the gearing − Remove the gearing with the motor plate and the motor PE_MO02 Call a second person to help: If the gearing slips out of its bearing with the roller, the RH bearing of the roller may get damaged (loss of the accurate running properties). The closed belt bridge supports the print roller only to a limited extent. dlabr099 1 Motor PE_MO02: Drive feed and exit roller PE 2 Gearing − On the gearing side, open the fastening of the clutch for the motor MO02 (in dismounted condition) − Remove the motor plate with the motor from the gearing: 3 x vibration absorbers Installation: − Link the new gearing with the motor, fasten the clutch − Mount the complete unit, carefully insert the roller drive shaft and lock it with screws − Screw down 3 screws of the suspension points until the sleeves in the rubber buffers feel resistance AGFA d-lab.3 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 6.4.35
Printer Repair − Fastening of the clutch for the shaft − Thread the motor cable and link it − Mount the rear plate Check the function in the Service program Replacing the Motor PE_MO03 Replacement required: Motor defective The flap control on the exposure slit does not move any more Allan key 4 Service cables L9.8060.9001.1 and L9.8060.9002.1 Removal: − Pull out the PE − Detach the spring (4) − Disconnect the connector (2) of MO03 (1) − Unscrew MO03 and remove it: 2 fastening screws (5) Installation: − Screw on the new motor: Make sure that it does not rest on the holding plate cutout (distortion) The spring is attached again only after the check / adjustment. − Connect the service cable − Call up the service program and execute: Scripts/Scripts_printer/data_pe/klappe_ini.txt − Check the actuator function by means of Scripts: klappe_auf.txt and klappe_zu.txt In position "Flap open " (not init) push up the toggle without the spring.
