Replacing the Light Sensors of the Switching Gear SG
Light sensor defective:
− SG_LS01 Paper detection, magazine RHS
− SG_LS02 Paper detection, magazine LHS
− SG_LS03 Remaining length detection, LHS
− SG_LS04 Remaining length detection, RHS
− SG_LS05 CU-SG-control
− SG_LS06 CU-SG-control
All other light sensors of the switching gear
(SG_LS21-24 and SG_LS41-44) are located on the
printed circuit in the Cutter Unit.
To replace these light sensors, see
Replace the light sensors in the cutter unit CU,
earlier in register 6.4.

− If the light sensors are defective, replace GS
(printed circuit):
SG_LS01 SG_GS03 (see below)
SG_LS02 SG_GS04
SG_LS03 SG_GS05
SG_LS04 SG_GS06
SG_LS05/06 SG_GS01
Special case SG_LS01:
Removal:
The SG_GS03 can only be removed completed with
the holding plate!
− Turn up the guide plate .SGAF to get access to
the screws.
− Remove the cable FK 23 after the GS has been
removed – use a screwdriver!
Installation:
When mounting the GS, make sure that all cables
are flat inside the assembly group without loops.
Extending cables may be torn off when the GS is
installed in the Printer!
