Replacing the Cutter Unit CU

Cross tip screwdriver
Allan key
Removal:
− Remove the paper magazine
− Dismount the cutter unit (1)
(2 screws, see next fig.):
− Remove the detection of the paper magazine
coding (2 screws)
− Disconnect the connector (3)
− Pull the drive unit a little to the other side to
interrupt the connection to the voltage
connector, turn it and remove it to the front
− Remove the cutter unit: Unscrew 2 screws
− RHS (1)
− LHS (2)

Installation:
− Push in the cutter unit up to the holding point
− Check that the connector has locked in
− Give the handle of the cutter unit a vigorous push
until the unit locks in at the end stop.
− If this is not possible, check whether the guide lug
finger is deformed.
