Repair Printer Replacing / adjusting the Guide Rails of the Paper Magazines, Replacing Light Sensor ML/MR_LS08 (locking detection) Replacement required: − Top / bottom guide rail damaged − Locking detection ML/MR_LS08 defective Screwdriver − Remove the guide rail (4 screws) − Replace the light sensor: ML/MR_LS08 is accessible after the top guide rail has been removed. Readjust the guide rails: − Mount the right and left paper magazine fastening (Magazine Lock); do not tighten the screws − Mount the paper magazine − Adjust the guide rails in such a way that the magazine locks exactly into the drive − Tighten the screws, lacquer-seal them when necessary AGFA d-lab.3 2001-01-02 /PN 9009 6.4.13
Printer Repair Replacing the Magazine Drive ML/MR The magazine drive ensures 2 functions: 1. Driving the paper magazine 2. Driving the cutter unit Replacement required: The paper magazine drive or the cutter drive do not function. Cross tip screwdriver Allan key − Remove the paper magazine − Unscrew the RH (1) or the LH cutter unit (2), 2 screws − Remove the detection of the paper magazine coding (2) (2 screws; disconnect 2 cables) − Disconnect the connector (3) on the magazine drive − Disconnect the connection between the drive unit and the voltage connector − MR: pull the assembly group to the right − ML: pull the assembly group to the left − Take out the RH drive unit toward the front Caution!
