Download Firmware (prhp.hex)
(if necessary, takes about 30 min)
This applies to all downloads:
By all means do not interrupt the download
otherwise it cannot be repeated!
Important note:
With the introduction of the main software 7.50x the
firmware structure of the Mainboard changed as
well.
A wrong download would make the board useless.
And in another case if a further update is required a
download of firmware would no longer be possible.
Therefore consider the following information:
− If with Service\ Firmware Version a firmware
< 1.04.xx was determined on the replaced
Mainboard, load prhp_kombi.hex.
− If the determined firmware on the replaced
Mainboard is 1.04 and higher load prhp.hex.
− Enter the following path in the Service GUI:
− Firmware Download
− LASER PRINTER*PR
− HP printer main software+++
− Search file under
− C:\Dlab\Dlabxxxx\Pr\Install\
Pr_Vxxx-y
− prhp.hex (bzw.prhp_kombi.hex)
− Path and file name are displayed in the upper
window after clicking Open
− Select download
After a few seconds a window opens:
Downloading Printer
Once the window closes again the software
download was successful.
