Functional Description
PO_GS01: L8.8060.2200.
− Control and monitoring of the current supply of
the Printer section
− Control and monitoring of the Laser via the SPI
command interface.
All output voltages are A/D converted and can be
checked. For this, the commands are checked at
the SPI interface in the Microcontroller and the
corresponding actions are initiated.
The SPI interface implemented in the Controller is
activated via differential drivers (RS422).

Remote Power Supply
After the Reset of the Controller, the power
voltages (24V, 36V, 22,5V) are switched off. They
can be switched by the SPI command.
All available output voltages of the power supply
unit are checked at the Remote connection, are
level-converted and are sent to the 11-input 10-Bit
A/D converter.
A simple instrumentation amplification circuit and
their 2-pole measurement ensures that no
inadmissible GND loops occur.
The measuring values are constantly recorded in
a program loop and compared to the reference
values set by commands. The result of the
monitoring is shown by the LEDs which light when
the corresponding voltage is in the required range.
