Functional Description
After the Insertion of a Film
− The film is caught by the transport roller TR3 in
the Film Feeder.
− The Prescanner moves into the negative mask
and performs the calibration:
Brightness and colour measurement of the
printing lamp light
− The Prescanner scans the film; the TFS and the
exposure parameters are defined.
− The film is scanned after the CCD calibration:
The exposure data is calculated and exposed by
the exposure unit.
Exposure Path
− Prescan to define the APL (automatic
positioning logic) and TFS values
− Infrared scan to define the film grain,
scratches and fluffs (on CCD area)
− The adjustment of the negative size to the
CCD chip size is done by the Zoom or fixed
focus lens.
− Main scan by means of CDD with a resolution
