Bristol Company Challenge Take up the challenge on Sunday 11th September 2011 and enter a team in the Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge. We are inviting companies to take part in this race within a race! Designed to encourage businesses to promote a healthy workforce while helping raise money for charity, organisations taking part will also benefit from: l l l building a strong team spirit cultivating links with other local businesses flagging Bristol as a flourishing business community One of the most scenic races in the UK, the Bristol Half Marathon covers 13.1 miles (21km) around Bristol's historic Harbourside. Prizes for the Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge will be awarded in the following categories: l l l Fastest team Fastest man Fastest woman l Fastest male veteran (over 40) l Fastest female veteran (over 35) Winners will receive hand-blown etched glass trophies made by Bristol Blue Glass. This year's official race charities are CLIC Sargent, St Peter's Hospice and Coco (Comrades of Children Overseas). Places in the race have been reserved for teams competing in the Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge.
How to apply Priority online entry: Enter on-line (credit / debit card payment). Your place will be allocated and confirmed by email immediately. Please note there will be an on-line processing fee of £3. If you wish to apply on-line, please visit the race website at: www.bristolhalfmarathon.com Or you may complete this form... If you wish to enter by post please ensure you complete all sections of this form and enclose payment by cheque or postal order (no cash payments please). Entries will be allocated on a “first come first served basis” and confirmation sent. Entries received with no payment, or rejected payment, will not be accepted. Please send the completed and signed entry form with a cheque or postal order for the team’s race fee (either individual cheques or one cheque for the whole team) to: Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge FR Systems PO Box 512 Cheadle Stoke-on-Trent ST10 4RJ Cheques should be made payable to “Bristol City Council (Bristol Half Marathon)”. Please write your team name and address on the back of your cheque. Entry fees are non-refundable and places in the race nontransferable. Conditions of entry l l l l Entry to the Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge is open to proprietors and employees of any UK registered business, company or corporation. Registered charities are not eligible to enter but may encourage companies to enter on their behalf. Teams must consist of between four and six members. A minimum of four team members must finish the race for the team’s result to be eligible for the fastest team prize. Companies can enter as many teams as they like with a maximum of one guest (non company employee) per team. l There will be six prize categories - fastest team, the team raising the most money for charity, fastest man and fastest woman, fastest male veteran (over 40), fastest female veteran (over 35). l l l The winner of the fastest team category will be the team with the lowest cumulative time of the first four finishers. Winners in the fastest man and fastest woman categories may also qualify in either of the team categories. Participants in the Bristol Half Marathon Bristol Evening Post Company Challenge will not be eligible for prizes in the open race.
