THERMAL TRANSFER RIBBONS<br />
GENERAL PURPOSE WAX RIBBONS<br />
A complete line of wax ribbons is available for all of your<br />
general purpose applications. We offer several wax-based<br />
ink formulas which provide high-quality printing at an<br />
economical price. Developed, designed and produced <strong>to</strong><br />
printer manufacturers’ strict specifications, these ribbons<br />
offer excellent print quality for normal and rotated bar<br />
codes and small characters. Due <strong>to</strong> extensive research<br />
and development, we are able <strong>to</strong> offer several lines of wax<br />
ribbons: one designed <strong>to</strong> handle basic general purpose<br />
applications; one with lower printhead energy and excellent<br />
durability for more demanding applications; and one with a<br />
revolutionary backcoat for high volume applications where<br />
printhead buildup is a problem. These ribbons can also<br />
print at speeds as high as 12 IPS. You can count on our<br />

PREMIUM WAX/RESIN RIBBONS<br />
Designed for <strong>to</strong>day’s high-speed printers, our wax/resin<br />
ribbons provide an exceptional level of smudge and<br />
scratch resistance, while printing at speeds as high as<br />
12 IPS. Testing has shown our premium ribbons have<br />
greater durability than other premium ribbons. The level<br />
of print quality is also exceptional, especially for complex<br />
label formats – normal and rotated bar codes, logos and<br />
graphics. Our premium ribbons are also ideal for twodimensional<br />
codes. Premium ribbons are UL-recognized<br />
and are available with good resistance <strong>to</strong> IPA and<br />
household cleaners as well as moderate steam resistance.<br />
