Country Oak character & options
Country Oak is a range of classically
styled pieces made from Oak.
Beauty and quality is assured, all
cabinets are manufactured in our
factory in Oxfordshire and each
of the three finishes available
is carefully applied by hand to
enhance the grain and texture of the
wood. Country Oak is available with
two handle types (metal or wood)
to allow you to choose a style to
match your home’s interior design.
Dovetailed drawers, sturdy plinths
and standard quality features
such as lockable display cabinets,
integrated internal lighting and
toughened glass shelves ensure
that Country Oak will continue to
enhance your home for many years
to come.
Characteristics
The wood is specially chosen with knots and
cracks to create a deliberately rustic feel and
appearance making each piece unique and full
of character. The drawers and tops are slightly
rounded on the edges to add a gentle touch.
Finishes
Three attractive finishes are available for Country Oak furniture. To order your
chosen finish, please prefix the model code with the appropriate finish prefix. For
example OR956 in Satin finish with Metal handles should be ordered as ORS956.
Satin: A durable silky lacquer is applied
giving maximum durability and a modern
finish which is smooth to the touch and
has a silky sheen.
Order prefix ORS.
Waxed: A wax is applied to give a
naturally textured lustre, with a traditional
finish and feel.
Order prefix ORW.
Oiled: A Danish oil is applied giving a matt finish
which highlights the natural grain of the wood
and retains the warm natural character and feel
of the oak. Occasional re-oiling may be required.
Order prefix ORO.
Handles
Country Oak furniture is available with either standard
metal handles or optional wooden handles. To specify
wooden handles, please add the letter H after the
finish code. For example OR956 in Satin finish with
Wooden handles should be ordered as ORSH956
Metal Handles Standard option.

Fabric
There are several fabric options for the bedroom
stool shown on page 5. Your Country Oak stockist
will be happy to show you a swatch of the fabrics
available.
