The adm<strong>in</strong>istrative county of South Tipperary had the highest percentage of Catholics <strong>in</strong> <strong>2011</strong><br />

with 91.4 per cent, while Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown had the lowest at 77.6 per cent. All of the<br />

cities with the exception of Limerick City featured as hav<strong>in</strong>g low percentages of Catholics.<br />

<strong>Roscommon</strong>’s population declared itself to be 90.0 per cent Catholic, versus 92.5 per cent <strong>in</strong><br />

2006.<br />
