UNIVERSITY OF CRAIOVA Teleuniversitaria Craiova – TV Station The Students` House It was built in 1966 and intended to house cultural and educative activities of scientific, literary and artistic profile and entertainment performances. It was founded in 1995 and starting with January 1996, TV programs have been broadcast under the acronym TELE “U” and can be watched in Craiova, on an area of 30 km. The Botanical Garden Rânca It is situated in the Parang Mountains, at a height of 1530-1560m, being the only botanical garden situated at this altitude, including a wide range of European species.
