(2) Units driven by electrical motors not meeting<br />
Class I, Division 2 (Zone 2), requirements may<br />
be used providing they are stationed outside the<br />
FSSZ and upwind whenever possible. The heating<br />
and air conditioning units shall be started prior<br />
to connecting the open end of the duct to the aircraft<br />
and stopped after the duct has been disconnected.<br />
g. Contractor/subcontractor vehicles involved in concurrent<br />
servicing operations must comply with the standards<br />
in this <strong>TO</strong>. Those vehicles not meeting these requirements<br />
will not be allowed in the fuel servicing<br />
safety zone. The SCR will inform the CSS of the status<br />
of contractor/subcontractor vehicles prior to the<br />
start of concurrent servicing operations.<br />
NOTE<br />
Maintenance stands and equipment used under the<br />
aircraft during fuel servicing operations will be<br />
positioned to ensure the aircraft is not damaged<br />
when it settles as the aircraft is fueled.<br />
h. If workstands are used, bond to the aircraft. Workstands<br />
shall not be moved except under the direction of the<br />
CSS.<br />
j. Required fleet servicing equipment.<br />
k. Required passenger handling equipment.<br />
The 40-K loader open flame heater will not be<br />
used in the concurrent servicing area.<br />
l. Required cargo handling equipment for the specific<br />
aircraft and its cargo being on or off loaded.<br />
m. At least four intercom headsets for C-5 and C-141, two<br />
with 1<strong>00</strong>-foot cords and two with 50-foot cords. For<br />
C-130 at least three intercom headsets, one with a 75-<br />
foot cord and two with at least 50-foot cords with passengers<br />
on board.<br />
n. Bond conductive maintenance or work stands to the<br />
aircraft when using the stand to access the aircraft fuel<br />
servicing receptacles or support the fuel hose during<br />
servicing operations.<br />
i. An external staircase will be provided for C-5 upper<br />
deck passengers whenever the internal stairs are stowed<br />
due to cargo loading operations being conducted concurrent<br />
with fuel or oxygen servicing operations.<br />
