6. Hydrazine leak or spill. Notify MOC. Implement base formal contingency plan in<br />

accordance with AFMAN 48-155. Refer to Paragraph<br />

4.22 of this technical order for further information.<br />

7. Wet wing defueling. Four, 80 BC, dry chemical extinguishers (Army supplied).<br />

8. <strong>Air</strong>craft serviced inside A/F 37T10/11 Hush Houses. One Halon 1211 fire extinguisher inside the hush house<br />

being used.<br />

9. <strong>Air</strong>craft being loaded/unloaded with non-nuclear munitions<br />

using -33-1-2 procedures with/without powered<br />

support equipment.<br />

a. Outside hangar or shelter. Same as 2 above.<br />

b. Flow through/three-sided revetment. One Halon 1211 fire extinguisher located within each revetment<br />

being used.<br />

c. <strong>Air</strong>craft Shelters. One Halon 1211 fire extinguisher inside each shelter being<br />

used.<br />

10. Multiple source refueling. One Halon 1211 fire extinguisher for each side of the aircraft<br />

being serviced.<br />

11. Protective <strong>Air</strong>craft Canopy Shelters (PACS). Same as 2 above.<br />

12. Refueling of aircraft not equipped with an integral One individual shall remain outside the aircraft within 20<br />

APU fire fighting capability (when APU is operating). feet of the APU/GTC compartment exhaust with a 150-<br />

pound Halon 1211 fire extinguisher.<br />

The Fire Protection Flight determines the type of extinguisher(s)<br />

required for the associated process hazards.<br />

15. Forward Area Refueling Point (FARP) Operations. Position a 20-pound dry chemical or equivalent fire extinguisher,<br />

in the immediate vicinity of the tanker SPR<br />

panel, at each receiver point, and at the FAM cart, when<br />

used. Use a 150-pound flightline Halon 1211 (or equivalent<br />

agent) in lieu of the 20-pound fire extinguisher, if a<br />

fuel truck is used.<br />
