are underlain by geologic sediments
determined to have a high paleontological
sensitivity rating. Additionally,
cultural resource investigations identified
a number of archaeological sites
SUMMARY
The information discussed in this inventory
chapter provides a foundation
upon which the remaining elements of
the planning process will be constructed.
Information on current airport
facilities and utilization will serve
as a basis, with additional analysis
and data collection, for the development
of forecasts of aviation activity
and facility requirement determinations.
DOCUMENT SOURCES
As mentioned earlier, a variety of different
sources were utilized in the inventory
process. The following listing
reflects a partial compilation of these
sources. This does not include data
provided by airport management as
part of their records, nor does it include
airport drawings and photographs
which were referenced for information.
On-site inventory and interviews
with staff and tenants contributed
to the inventory effort.
