Business Incubator Ltd. – BIOS<br />

(http://www.inkubator.hr/) in Osijek. Mission<br />

of BIOS is supporting the development of small<br />

and medium enterprises through the provision<br />

of business premises and provision of business<br />

and other services in the most critical stages of<br />

enterprise development and thus participating<br />

in economic development of the region and<br />

unemployment reduction in the region. BIOS<br />

objectives are:<br />

• To participate in the economic development<br />

of the region;<br />

• To promote local entrepreneurship and help<br />

with the development of new enterprises;<br />

• To increase the number of enterprises<br />

that continue to operate successfully<br />

on the market;<br />

• To reduce the likelihood of collapse of<br />

start-up companies;<br />

• To reduce the time required for the<br />

establishment and growth of the enterprise<br />

and make these processes more cost efficient;<br />

• To provide business, technical, educational<br />

and other services to incubator clients and<br />

4.2.3. Bosnia and Herzegovina<br />

In the period 2005-2009, Bosnia and Herzegovina<br />

(BiH) recorded significant progress in the Bologna<br />

process implementation. The biggest merit for<br />

this goes to the state Universities in BiH, the
