<strong>Chapter</strong> Level Descriptions<br />
<strong>Chapter</strong> support from the Office <strong>of</strong> <strong>Alumni</strong> Relations is determined by<br />
the alumni population in a region. <strong>Chapter</strong> levels are not permanent<br />
and their positioning can be evaluated on an annual basis. International,<br />
young alumni, corporate and affinity/special interest chapters do not fall<br />
into these levels and are not required to meet the same criteria. The minimum<br />
number <strong>of</strong> alumni needed in a region to start a chartered chapter<br />
is 400; however, we will do our best to accommodate alumni groups <strong>of</strong><br />
any size in any region for the purpose <strong>of</strong> alumni engagement and support<br />
<strong>of</strong> RIT and its mission.<br />
