New Administration Team at RIS
s many of you know, a new
Ainterim administration team
has been appointed at Ruamrudee
International School recently. With
the recommendation from the
Redemptorist General Government
in Rome and Denver Province in
United States, this new interim team
is already busy at work!
Due to the sudden ill health of
Fr. Lawrence Patin, C.Ss.R., who
remains hospitalized in the United
States, Father Peter Pattarapong
Srivorakul, C.Ss.R, has relocated
to Pattaya to take over as Acting
President of the Fr. Ray Foundation.
Although we miss Fr. Peter on
campus and appreciate his selfless
service and devotion to Ruamrudee,
we know that he is busy caring for the
many needy children in Pattaya and
wish him the best of luck.
Father Joseph Apisit Kritsaralam,
C.Ss.R, has been appointed as
interim Head of School for RIS. Fr.
Apisit, a former Vice-Provincial
of the Redemptorists of Thailand,
previously spent several years
working at RIS. He returns with
many years of educational and
management experience. Welcome
back, Fr. Apisit!
Khun Anonth Collaco assumes the role
of School Manager and Deputy Head
of Finance and Human Resources.
Khun Anonth comes to Ruamrudee
with an extensive background and
experience in the business arena.
Father Leo Travis, our beloved
Father, will continue to be spiritual
director of RIS and RIST schools.
His valuable and inspiring presence
has nourished spiritual and value
ministries of the school.
Fr. Thomas Picton, C.Ss.R., of
the Denver Province in the U.S.
will oversee the new interim
administration and assist in the duties
and responsibilities that are mandated
within this short-term phase.
Pursuant to our mission and vision,
RIS community is committed to

continue to work hard to maintain
the overall high standard. We grew
into one of the best international
schools here in Thailand from our
humble beginnings 52 years ago;
and we will continue t o
be here well into the
future serving the
