Dear Participants,
I write to welcome all of you as SEASAC member schools to the NIST International School, and indeed
to the city of Bangkok. For those of you who are enjoying Thailand for the first time, I am sure that you
will find Thai hospitality and NIST hospitality to be conducive to enjoying your stay.
This is the 18th year since SEASAC was formed and it has been a great privilege for NIST to have been
involved since the outset of this organization. We are also very proud of our sports facilities at NIST and I
hope that you will enjoy them and that they will enable you to participate to the best of your ability.
More importantly I hope that you will simply enjoy the participation. Through this event you will make
some good friends, some lasting friendships, and no doubt re-new some old acquaintances. The success of
SEASAC is built around these very opportunities.
Touch Rugby is an exciting and dynamic sport, which our community is really looking forward to
supporting. This year, with 12 SEASAC teams competing, I believe it is the largest touch event so far in
the history of SEASAC.
The SEASAC competitions at NIST over the years have always provided excellent spirit. So once again
we look forward to spirited competition, to sportsmanship, to commitment and to the challenge of the
game.
Good luck to you all for a happy and successful tournament.
