Newsletter Number 2 March 4, 2011 Year 9 – 11 Student Leadership 2011 Student leadership is a vital and essential part of our College, offering students the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge in positions of responsibility. Through our leadership program, we aim to provide students with a voice, which is an essential part of student learning and engagement. After applications were submitted and considered, we are pleased to announce the leadership appointments listed below for 2011. All these students are invited to become active members of the Student Representative Council, which is the key group within the school for student voices to be heard. The first meeting will be held before school on Tuesday 8 th March. There will also be leadership training offered to these leaders throughout the year, so all leaders must ensure they regularly check the bulletin and their school email. Congratulations to all our year 9 – 11 leaders!
