Packing tracks in Reinach: tracks are removed and then reconstructed over a distance<br />

of 750 m.<br />

Key facts 750 m length of track to be removed<br />

and reconstructed. A total of about 1,415 m 3<br />

of ballast is laid and foundations are laid for<br />

40 overhead line masts. One level crossing is<br />

completely changed and at a second crossing<br />

the track is moved along the stop.<br />

Key facts About 1,270 m of ballastless double<br />

track is overhauled. The contract involves<br />

1,500 m of cable piping.<br />

Laying concrete in Zürich: the double track along Seefeldstrasse is overhauled over a<br />

distance of 1,270 m.<br />

Key facts Removal and reconstruction of a<br />

and construction of 10 foundation pads for<br />

overhead line masts.<br />

Installation of a total of about 730 m of cable<br />

pipe, construction of 30 inspection chambers<br />

and renewal of 460 m of overhead lines.<br />

Ballastless track in Zürich: in Forchstrasse the tracks were first removed and then<br />

reconstructed.<br />

Key facts Installation of a total of 6,800 m of<br />

SBB I and SBB IV ballast track on concrete<br />

sleepers, and 288 m Ri 60N track on concrete<br />

sleepers. This involves the installation of about<br />

21,000 tonnes of ballast, the welding of 1,050<br />

rails, the laying of 10,075 concrete sleepers<br />

and installation of 17 track switches.<br />
