Topic: What benefits will the mobility stamp card offer Rhomberg?
“The bus route 21a from Lauterach to Bregenz stops directly
outside the Rhomberg office building, so it is perfect
for me. With buses travelling every 30 minutes, I am still
flexible. The journey itself takes 10 minutes on the bus, but
this is no more than the time I would have spent in the car.
In the summer I will ride my bicycle, but during the winter
months and when it is raining the bus is the easiest and
most comfortable option.”
Sarah Krenkel, Bauen im Bestand/Structural Engineering
“I happily admit to being a car-free person. Every day I
cycle to work, whatever the weather. The idea of having
our mobility cards stamped is a really good one because it
rewards my environmentally friendly outlook.”
Torsten Neumann, Railway Technology
“For me, the health aspect is the key. I like to burn off calories
in an environmentally aware way, and it is good to be
doing something for my health at the same time. I love the
cycle path from Wolfurt to Bregenz, so it is simply great
fun to leave the car at home.”
Marjeta Ulmer, Accounts
“By collecting mobility stamps and leaving my car at home,
I have realized that I don’t actually need it. Now we only
have one car in our household.”
Jasmin Lind, Group Service HR
“By car, it takes between 25 and 45 minutes to get to my
workplace in the Resources Center Rheintal. If I go on public
buses it is 1 hour each way, but I don’t mind the extra
time because I arrive stress-free at work and back home
again. Plus I save money. This is the best way for me.”
Gerhard Pum, Underground Engineering
of companies on the one hand and the
availability of transport on the other.
Slow-moving traffic Pedestrians and cyclists
MIV German abbreviation for motorized
Smart Grids Technical term for intelligent
electricity networks. With the aid of computer
increasingly also storers of electrical energy.
