RHD Specific Job Description – Foreign Aided Project Operations<br />

SJD/FAP/1.1 – Project Director – PCU Roads or Bridges or PMP<br />

5. Process draft DPP or TAP based on MOU, Aide -Memoirs and field information for<br />

feasibility study, detailed design, and <strong>project</strong> implementation;<br />

6. Coordinate with the CE RHD, development partners, MoC, ERD, Project Directors for all<br />

<strong>project</strong> purposes and ensure interaction with functional units and links with other <strong>project</strong>s;<br />

7. Manage and monitor functions of loan, grant and credit with particular responsibility for<br />

efficient operations of expenditures, progress and delivery and liase with funding agency;<br />

8. Appoint consultants (both <strong>foreign</strong> and local) for the feasibilility study and detailed design;<br />

9. Overview progress of physical works, training programme of the investment <strong>project</strong>s;<br />

10. Discuss with CE RHD, MoC, ERD and appraise progress in detail in case of TA<br />

component of the <strong>project</strong>;<br />

11. Review inception report submitted by the consultant and monitor reports including monthly<br />

progress;<br />

12. Process annual programme, budget requirements for the <strong>project</strong> and obtain approval from<br />

the relevant authorities;<br />

13. Ensure that relevant records and reports on FAPs are sent for maintaining in the RHD<br />

database;<br />

14. Interact with PCUs during <strong>project</strong> preparation and provide up to date information in the<br />

planning stages and on-going <strong>project</strong>s;<br />

15. Attend meetings with the development partners on all key issues;<br />

16. Ensure that the consultant introduces Site Safety Plan prior to commencement of work;<br />

17. Ensure that the Central Management System continues to meet the requirement of FAPs.<br />
