The requirements to evaluate sound insulation measures, thermal comfort
and light are regulated pursuant to statutory provisions and can be
verified. The information on noxious emissions could not be made by the
handling clerk in a secure manner (depending on the executing company).

- Flexibility of use and convertibility of the flats
- Social security (building entrances and residential vicinity)
The accessibility of the flats and communal rooms is requested using
structural dimensions on the basis of Dutch building laws and mainly
correspond to the requirements for barrier-free living conditions. The
individual topics of flexibility of use and convertibility of the flats overlap
with the information for the second entry section of material (long service
life) and constitute standards which are not comparable in all their points
with German standards.
Information requested in the area of ‘social security’ cannot objectively be
verified (e.g. ‘Well-conceived design of niches and passage ways’).

appraisal of buildings and combines hitherto

planning measures for energy-saving, environmental
aspects and sustainable use are encouraged. The
program thus enables the sustainability of an object to be examined and
optimised already from an early planning stage. Consequently, the program
allows the quality of buildings to be checked continuously, thoroughly and in
a uniform manner.
The program structure is comprehensible without the need for meticulous
familiarisation. The supplied documentation allows processing without
detailed specialist knowledge but it does require collecting extensive
documentation in advance. Some of the documentation is available with the
current procedural stages only after the completion of the building project
(this is particularly the case for the owners’ special wishes and measures in
the vicinity of the building project).
