ELISA Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1991 to develop enzyme<br />
immunoassay technology for use in the food industry. Our mission is<br />
to assure food quality by creating and supporting rapid, reliable,<br />
sensitive and cost-effective testing solutions. We are committed to<br />
using our expertise in species, allergens, antibiotics, drugs,<br />
hormones, toxins and other analytes to assist our clients with their<br />
analytic needs. Our commitment is to provide our clients with<br />
accurate, confidential, efficient, reliable and cost-effective analytical<br />
options to meet their needs. On August 5, 2013, the US FDA released<br />
their final ruling on the definition of the term “gluten-free” in food<br />
labeling. This regulation requires that foods labeled gluten-free must<br />
contain less than 20 ppm of gluten.
• ELISA Technologies offers in-house testing services for<br />
species identification (cooked & raw) as well as for a variety<br />
of allergens (please refer to list of testing services below for<br />
specifics). We offer a three-working-day turn around time<br />
on results from the time we receive a sample on most tests*.<br />
Next day rush is available for samples received before Noon<br />
(EST)**. Our support staff will post test results to the<br />
confidential web page assigned to the listed contact person<br />
as soon as the results are available from our laboratory. We<br />
then mail the original report to the listed contact person.<br />
Our testing services are highly confidential. Information is<br />
only reported to the requesting company and then only to<br />
their indicated contact personA minimum of 100 grams of<br />
product is requested when sending in a sample for testing.<br />
ELISA Technologies retains your sample for three months<br />
before it is properly destroyed.
