Strengthening the Management of General Island and Ayoke Community Based MPA
New set of officers were elected in<br />
general island ManCom or the<br />
ISLAMDUNK (Peoples Organization).<br />
A new system of election I ever had, as<br />
decide by the group, it was a secret<br />
ballot voting that they will written /<br />
nominate the person they want to be in<br />
certain position.<br />
At the end, election committee will<br />
review the papers and write down name<br />
mention in the sheets in each position, the<br />
highest number of votes will be declare<br />
in the respective position.
Procured non-motorized boat for Ayoke<br />
and General Island MPA . The nonmotorized<br />
boat planned to be painted<br />
by some of the campaign message that<br />
brings pride for the community.<br />
For General Island MPA, the approved<br />
message by the ManCom is “ General<br />
Island Marine Protected Area –<br />
Sangtwaryo Nan Tanan”. Likewise for<br />
Ayoke MPA, it is “Ayoke Marine Protected<br />
Area. Sangtwrayo Nan Tanan, ato ini<br />
protektahan ug Bantajan. The pride of<br />
Cantilan – giant clams and other marine<br />
lives will be painted also and<br />
nevertheless the logo of partners<br />
agencies and funders .
SOCIAL MARKETING
POSTER ENHANCEMENT<br />
After the poster making contest,<br />
the team decided to have an<br />
enhancement of the poster to<br />
incorporate the messages of the<br />
campaign, likewise to used in<br />
some social marketing.<br />
These will be use in calendar and<br />
poster.

the afternoon.

There are two designs of t-shirt. This is the first<br />
set of release for pre-testing purposes.<br />
Logo is located at the back in both t-shirt.<br />
In front, it mentions the marine products found<br />
in the MPA, calling for the protection of the<br />
sources of life.<br />
