Project Manager
"The programme has allowed me to see how working with an indigenous community can
be done with positive impact on the community and with complete ownership by the
community. It has also taught me how to motivate and encourage 17-24 year olds to
develop and work for a common cause regardless of backgrounds, and socio economic
status"
Emily Peelgrane, Volunteer Manager.
“When I began my trek from the Caribbean Coast to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, it
seemed an impossible challenge with no end in sight. The early mornings and long days
walking were made easier by my project managers, who used different approaches to
keep us feeling motivated and enthusiastic. It was this encouragement that helped me to
overcome the biggest challenge of my life!”
