Food & Beverage MCC Members are settling into spring and enjoying lunch on our outdoor patio. We look forward to the beautiful weather and increasing patronage, as well as the combination of simultaneous outdoor events. The Food & Beverage staff is dedicated to providing every member with quality attention you come to expect during busy intervals. As always, your support and patience are greatly appreciated at Camp Moraga. Lunch has become very popular here and many members have only just begun to experience our breakfast service. We offer a variety of items like Breakfast Burritos, Pancakes and our own Camp Scramble, as well as organic coffee and espresso. Our Chefs can accommodate most any menu item or dietary need in creating the perfect dish to get you through your day. Members that do come in for breakfast remain frequent return customers and have provided us with some thoughtful feedback: “I would like to mention how much I have enjoyed the breakfast at Camp Moraga. Chef Brett and his staff always get my day off to a good start with fine food and very pleasant service” - Steve Oliver We want to thank you for your continued support during our transition to the new Club! Our hours of operation: Steve Oliver Breakfast Lunch Bar 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Breakfast served all day on Sundays!) 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Bar remains open as long as business dictates) Enjoy all the activities that spring and MCC offer, and then relax at Camp Moraga with a cold drink and a great meal! Brett Hurst, Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Manager 4 Ryan Kathan outside golf service & pantry staff Employee of the Month: Ryan Kathan This month, please join management as we honor Ryan Kathan, a member of both our Outside Golf Service and Pantry Staff!! When Ryan’s working with the Golf Staff his responsibilities are staging our golf cart area, cleaning members’ golf clubs and providing excellent customer service. When Ryan’s working in the restaurant, you will see him behind the counter making delicious and creative salads and sandwiches. Before coming to Moraga Country Club in 2010, Ryan worked at Pennini’s preparing Pizza’s. Ryan lives close by MCC with his family in Moraga. He enjoys spending his spare time fishing with his close friends and family. When asked what he likes for entertainment he tells us he’s a Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics fan. When he’s not rooting for his favorite teams, he’s catching up on Seinfeld, or watching Good Will Hunting while enjoying his favorite meal, Chicken and Rice. Next time you come to Camp Moraga, stop by and say hello to May’s Employee of the Month, Ryan Kathan!! Good job, Ryan!
Charity Drive for Rescue One Foundation We are asking every member of Moraga Country Club to donate to the RESCUE ONE foundation! We are very fortunate to have the paramedics of Moraga-Orinda so close to us. These well-trained professionals are able to provide us with the highest level of pre-hospital care and advanced life support. Our donations go directly to the paramedics units themselves, providing them with extra medical equipment and supplies, plus continuing education sessions. Our Moraga-Orinda paramedics are recognized as among the finest in Northern California. All of Your Donation Goes Directly To The Charity RESCUE ONE Foundation. The RESCUE ONE Foundation Board Members are all volunteers from our community. No administration fees are deducted from your donation. We have been immensely impressed by the knowledge and expertise shown by these fine, young paramedics! Please help them and your community by donating!
