Every Building has an Architect<br />
The message that Architecture matters continued to resonate and spread in <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
• With the permission <strong>of</strong> the <strong>RAIC</strong>, the AIA Central Valley, a Chapter <strong>of</strong> the<br />
American <strong>Institute</strong> <strong>of</strong> Architects in California, is using the Every Building has<br />
an Architect concept for their postcard campaign targeting the media in their<br />
region. The message is resonating on both sides <strong>of</strong> the border.<br />
• In April <strong>RAIC</strong> Ontario North, East and Nunavut Regional Director Allan<br />
Teramura, M<strong>RAIC</strong>, appeared before Ottawa’s Arts, Heritage and Culture<br />
Advisory Committee outlining concerns about the ongoing changes to<br />
Lansdowne Park development plans. He concluded by pointing out that Every<br />
Building has an Architect, which seemed to find resonance with the committee<br />
and went a long way to letting everyone know that Architecture matters …<br />
