BASHER Head - Radley College

BASHER Head
RCBC will enter two “matched” senior eights and two “matched” J16 eights at
the BASHER Head at Dorney Lake this Saturday 21 st January. Although the
crews will only have been rowing for just over a week, it will be a relaxed
environment for the boys to get used to racing again after a break of over six
months.
The crews will boat at 2:10pm and the race should get underway at 2:45pm.
The race is three 1900m “laps” of the course and is run in a head race format.
Tea will be available in the Lake View Room at Dorney Lake after racing is
completed.

Radley College
Reading Bluecoat
So I guess for this event it should be the BASHERR Head…

Directions
Exit the M4 motorway at Junction 7.
Go left onto the A4, direction Maidenhead, and over one set of traffic lights.
500 yards further on turn left at roundabout by Sainsbury’s.
Follow road to Dorney village.
When road curves left, go right into Court Lane, signposted to Dorney Court
and Dorney Lake
Go past Dorney Court.
At point where road curves right, go straight ahead into the Dorney Lake site
through white gates.
